A DISRUPTIVE, SOCIAL-FIRST CAMPAIGN FOR DIRECTV

OVERVIEW

DIRECTV set out to break through a crowded streaming landscape with something more disruptive than a typical influencer campaign. The idea: lean into the chaos. “Scrambled Spokesperson” played on the frustration of managing multiple platforms, logins, and shifting content–positioning Genre Packs™ as the solution that brings it all back into one place.

MY ROLE

Led the project from pitch through final delivery — developing the concept and scripts, guiding six influencers, directing edit/motion/VFX, leading client presentations and approvals, and overseeing sound, color, and final polish. When the creative director rolled off mid-project, we stepped in and owned all creative decisions end-to-end.

THE RESULTS

The campaign turned a fragmented streaming experience into a simple visual concept audiences immediately understood, driving both large-scale awareness and measurable engagement.
